1971 VW Beetle

This rather charming UK supplied Volkswagen Beetle was first registered on November 1st 1971, and is presented in beautiful VW Marina Blue with a contrasting Black interior.

The Marina Blue bodywork is in excellent condition with every panel straight and paintwork matching with a beautiful deep shine.

The interior is it superb condition. Recent new blue carpets have been fitted which contrast well with the black vinyl seats! The headcloth is perfect and all the dials, knobs and switches work as they should!

In August 2021, the car was sent to specialists Superstar Industries for an electric washer system, new blade bumpers, the heated rear screen wired-in, a new bamboo storage shelf fitted and a new stereo and speaker system fitted with ‘minimal disturbance to existing vehicle body’.

In December that year, the car would return to Superstar for the existing 1200cc engine to be upgraded to a 1600cc unit giving the car that bit more power for modern day traffic.

Having driven the car the past few days we can confirm that this engine is superb! It’s very healthy and gets the car down the road briskly.

With MOT valid until 28th August 2024 and now showing 59,720 miles on the odometer, included with the vehicle is a history file containing a large collection of invoices dating back to 2011.
