This particular car is a SL model presented in Honey starmist with black vinyl roof and black vinyl interior.
Supplied new on may 24th 1972 this car presents in exceptionally original condition. It was with its first owner for 49 years 11 months before being unearthed from a garage and given a mechanical recommissioning.
The body work is in lovely condition with the most charming patina! It is completely solid and although there are some marks here and there and the odd dent,we haven’t touched as to retain its charm. The bright work is in excellent condition as is the original vinyl roof. This car was also specced with the Rostyle wheels which are wrapped in matching tyres.
Inside, the black vinyl seats are in exceptional condition with very little wear. The original carpet set has some wear on the drivers side but still in very presentable condition. The trim, headcloth and switches are in equally excellent condition and it makes for a lovely place to be.
Mechanically, it is an absolute dream to drive! We have covered around 60 miles on it so far and the engine is sweet revvy and the 4 speed manual box is smooth with a tight change. It start first time with minimal choke from cold and idles beautifully.
An opportunity to acquire a rare and lovely example of the marque that would make a lovely addition to any collection or use and enjoy!
Supplied with its original bill of sale and other accompanying paperwork as well as 2 sets of original keys!
Definitely worth a look and a certainly something different to own and treasure compared to the Ford competitor of its day 👀😇
