Absolutely stunning 1973 Triumph 2.5 PI
Multi award winning example
Automatic
Huge service history
56,408 miles
This Triumphs bodywork is in pristine condition all round. Every panel is straight, panel gaps even and correct and the Signal red paintwork has a deep shine. The underside of this car is equally as good as it is on top.
The interior of the 2.5 PI was particularly plush with a smart teak veneer dashboard housing more comprehensive instrumentation than lesser models. This examples interior is in exceptional condition throughout with everything working as it should.
The 2.5-litre fuel-injected straight-six engine was a 132bhp version of that used in the highly rated Triumph TR6 and could whisk the saloon to 60mph in just 9.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 111mph. It fires straight up and drives impressively well sitting comfortably on the road with a smooth gear change and excellent brakes.
An impressive history accompanies the car consisting of receipts and mots, with it also featuring in Classic Car Weekly, Practical Classics magazine and being used for the Vangaurds Diescast 1.43 scale model.
A truly superb example.
