Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 presented in rare silver with half leather interior.

A superb 1992 non sunroof example that’s been cared for fastidiously by it’s previous owner of 9 years!

The previous keeper searched long and hard to find the best example available, which was this car and then improved on it over his ownership to its current high standard.

The body work is in fantastic condition and was completely stripped and repainted several years ago and still retains its excellent finish all round with only minor stone chips in the front to note. All panel gaps and shut lines are perfect and the plastic trim is in superb condition.

Inside, the upholstery is half leather with black and red cloth centres which is in absolutely perfect condition as are the red carpets, doorcards, mats
and instruments. Everything works as it should with the only modification being a slightly more modern radio fitted.

Our car has covered 126500 in its 30 years and drives absolutely perfectly. The 1.9 inline 4 cylinder engine is fantastic, serviced regularly, runs sweet and pulls like a train! With 126BHP when new we would be fairly confident I retains most of those horses as it just drives so fantastically well. The 5 speed manual gear box changes smoothly with no crunches and has recently had the gear linkage replaced to give a tight change as it should be.

It handles superbly and is incredible fun, there may well be a few more miles enjoyed in it until sold as I like it that much 😎

Most recently the 5 speedline alloys have been completely refurbished and wrapped in matching Toyo Proxes T1R tyres which really help it stick to the road and new Bilstein suspension improving the already famous handling.

An all round fantastic original hot hatch that are still amazing fun and proving to be a great investment!
