Here at Ballintaggart Cars and Classics we are privileged to offer another immaculate 1959 MGA fixed head coupe presented in stunning Iris blue with contrasting black interior.
This car is just out of long term ownership having been lovingly restored several years ago and used sparingly in the good weather.
The body work is fantastic and rust free, with all panel gaps sitting even and true. The chassis and floor are in equally excellent condition. The gleaming Iris blue paintwork is bright and vibrant and only has very minor age related blemishes to note
The car drives faultlessly with its rebuilt 1600 engine that is strong and punchy under acceleration. The original 4 speed gearbox is smooth and propels the car down the road nicely.
Launched at the Frankfurt motor show in 1955 the MGA remained in production until 1962. French singer Sacha Distel thought it was so beautiful he purchased one to chauffeur actress Brigitte Bardot around.
This car will not disappoint any discerning buyer and represents exceptional value in the present growing classic car market.
