The vehicle comes from an enthusiasts home and presents in superb condition with excellent bodywork and gleaming red paintwork with only minor age related blemishes to note of we’re to be fussy. The black vinyl roof is excellent and comes complete with the side screen windows.

The car drives brilliantly with its 1600 engine firing into life with little choke and runs beautifully. It sits lovely on the road with a smooth precise gear change.

Launched at the Frankfurt motor show in 1955 the MGA remained in production until 1962 making this example one of the last. French singer Sasha Distell thought it was so beautiful he purchased one to chauffeur actress Brigitte Bardot around.
