FORD ESCORT RS COSWORTH LUX
A sublime 1995 example presented in Petrol Blue metallic with Black Raven leather upholstery.
The car has covered just 26,023 miles from new which is fully documented. The car is finished in the rare Petrol Blue Metallic, believed to be available only in late production models between November 1994 and December 1995 and is in fabulous condition having just passed it's MOT without issue in April.
The condition of the car is exceptional. It has covered under 1000 miles since the restoration and has been stored in a temperature controlled garage. The Bodywork and paint is in stunning condition and all panels/shut lines are exactly as they should be.
The original alloy wheels have been refurbished and are wrapped in Michelin pilot sport tyres.
As you can see from the photos the interior is also in immaculate condition and to our knowledge is completely standard. This is a LUX model and also has the upgraded leather interior, the seats show little wear and are in exquisite condition. The Carpets, door cards, trim and headlining are all good and all the dials and buttons work as they should. The original rubber Ford floor mats are also complete with the car.
In 2017 the car underwent a comprehensive restoration with the renowned RS Classics and has covered under 1000 miles since. (Fully documented with images and paperwork).
All keys, including the must have red key, plus original book pack and stamped service record are accompanied with the full RS Classics restoration binder and a multitude of original receipts and paperwork pertaining to the history of this vehicle.
The car has a current MOT until 8th April 2024 which it passed with no advisories. It starts straight up, runs sweetly and drives like a dream and although it was rarely used by its previous custodian, we have put almost 600 dry miles on it the last month purely because it’s such a joy to drive. The engine strong and the turbo boost is exuberant through all the gears.
